Everyone wants the supplement that knocks them out.
I'm more interested in WHY your body isn't sleeping.
Because sedation and restorative sleep aren't necessarily the same thing.
Sleep is an active biological process influenced by your circadian rhythm, sleep pressure, light exposure, behavior, environment and health.
And one of the most overlooked sleep habits happens in the MORNING.
Light reaching your eyes after waking helps synchronize your circadian clock, which influences the timing of alertness and sleep later on.
Regular movement can support sleep too.
Then there's caffeine.
Its effects can persist for hours, which means your afternoon coffee may matter more than you think if you're sensitive to it.
Ayurveda has emphasized daily rhythm for thousands of years through Dinacharya: creating consistency around waking, eating, activity and sleep.
Different language.
Very similar lesson:
Your body loves predictable signals.
Here's where wellness culture loses me...
We keep adding nighttime products while ignoring daytime behaviors.
So don't buy anything tonight.
Instead, choose ONE experiment for the next seven days.
Wake at approximately the same time.
Get outside after waking.
Move during the day.
Move caffeine earlier.
Dim the house at night.
Then observe what happens.
You don't need twelve new sleep hacks.
You need enough consistency to discover what actually works for YOUR body.
Which one would be hardest for you to change? 👇
