🙏 PRAY FOR THE PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭

Today, I am asking for prayers for the people of the Philippines following the recent earthquake that has impacted families, communities, and livelihoods.

For me, this is especially personal. I am from the Philippines although I now call Tennessee home, the Philippines will always hold a special place in my heart. Seeing the images and hearing the stories coming from those affected reminds me that many families are facing uncertainty, loss, and the difficult road to recovery.

As a community of faith, let us come together to lift up the people of the Philippines in prayer.

Please pray for:
🙏 The safety and recovery of those affected
🙏 Comfort for families who have lost loved ones
🙏 Healing for the injured
🙏 Protection and strength for rescue workers and first responders
🙏 Resources for rebuilding homes and communities
🙏 Peace, hope, and resilience in the days ahead

A page called "Senior Benefits Finder" is sending messages claiming you've been approved for a "$6,600 Senior Card" for food, gas, and utilities.

THIS IS A SCAM. ❌

I looked into this personally, and it has been verified. There is no such thing as a government-issued Senior Card. Experts and consumer protection agencies have confirmed that pages like this are designed to steal your personal information. A recent investigation found that scammers spent $49 million running over 150,000 fake benefit ads on Facebook and Instagram and they are specifically targeting our seniors.

That breaks my heart. And I'm not going to stay silent about it. 💔

If you or someone you love received this message:

- Do NOT tap "Yes Please" or click any links
- Do NOT give your name, address, Social Security number, or bank information
- Block and report the page immediately on Facebook
- Report it to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov
