Some may not know but I spent 13 years as a high school coach. One thing we tried to always do was learn from our mistakes! A little over a year ago we had a tough lesson in freezing pipes! So what can we learn!?

1. Know where your water cutoff is and how to turn the water supply off.

2. Open cabinets so warm air can get inside.

3. Cover outside faucets.

4. If you have issues with pipes freezing leave water running with a small steady stream.
