Meet Stormy 🌨️ 🐾

Stormy is a beautiful little girl with a resilient spirit. She came from a tough start in life, but she hasn’t let that dim her sweet personality. While all of her siblings have already found their forever homes, Stormy is still patiently waiting for her turn. She is more than ready to find a loving family of her own.

At about 3½ months old, she is the perfect mix of playful and gentle. She may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her a little time, and you’ll quickly see her affectionate, curious side shine through. Once Stormy feels safe, she absolutely loves chasing a laser pointer and batting around her favorite toys.

Stormy has been fully vetted for her age: she’s spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and microchipped. So she’s all ready to go home with you.

Fake Bank Text & App Alert Scams
Pause. Verify. Protect.

Scammers are sending texts and app alerts that look like they’re from the bank, warning of “suspicious activity” and urging immediate action. The goal is to rush you into clicking a fake link to steal your information.

We will never ask for passwords, full account numbers, or security codes through text or unexpected links.

If you get an urgent message, don’t click or respond. Instead, open your banking app directly or call your bank using a trusted number to verify.

A quick pause can protect your account.

We had a great time being part of Career Quest 2026, hosted by Horizon Education Alliance!

This two-day career exploration event brought nearly 3,000 7th grade students from across Elkhart County to the RV/MH Hall of Fame, where nearly 50 local businesses showcased a wide variety of industries through hands-on demonstrations and conversations.

First State Bank was proud to participate and share a glimpse into careers in banking and financial services.
