Meet Big Poppa! This handsome Snowshoe mix was found outside, but he was trying hard to get into everyone’s house! Big Poppa is super sweet and loves lots of pets and attention. He's easy-going and gets along with other cats. Big Poppa does have FIV and could be more prone to infections throughout his life. He also has pillow foot, an autoimmune condition. At some point, he may need steroids to help control it. Big Poppa is about 5 years old and would love a quiet home to settle into!! A recent Fairfield High School graduate, Landon will attend Goshen College this fall to study molecular biology and biochemistry while playing baseball for the Maple Leafs. A 10-year 4-H member and four-year beef club member, Landon has shown incredible dedication both in and out of the show ring.

Back-to-school season means more money moving between parents and students...and scammers know it.

Be cautious of unexpected requests for money, especially if someone claims they need an immediate payment for tuition, books, housing, an emergency, or another expense.

If a request seems unusual, call your student directly to verify it before sending money.

A quick phone call could prevent a major financial headache.
