BIG NEWS FOR MEDICARE BENEFICIARIES!

Starting July 1, 2026, eligible Medicare beneficiaries may be able to access certain GLP-1 weight loss medications for just $50 per month through Medicare’s new GLP-1 Bridge Program. This temporary program is scheduled to run through December 31, 2027.

Who may qualify?
✅ Enrolled in Medicare Part D or a Medicare Advantage plan with prescription drug coverage
✅ Meet specific clinical criteria established by Medicare
✅ Receive approval through the program’s prior authorization process

Covered medications may include:
• Wegovy®
• Zepbound®
• Certain other approved GLP-1 medications

Keep in mind that not everyone will qualify, and your doctor will need to determine whether these medications are appropriate for your situation. Medicare has specific eligibility requirements that must be met.

If you’ve been putting off exploring weight loss medication because of the cost, July 1 may open new doors for many Medicare beneficiaries.

It’s been a little quiet on my page lately because I’ve just been busy helping people and honestly feeling so thankful for this life God has blessed me with!!❤️

I received this review today and it truly meant so much to me.

I met with Karen at her business in Syracuse to help her through the Medicare process and I could tell right away she was overwhelmed by all the paperwork and information coming at her. I love being able to sit down with people, explain things in a simple way, answer questions, and help them feel confident moving forward.

Today was one of those days that just sticks with you.

One of my clients called me from the hospital yesterday to let me know he was going to the hospice house. He wanted to say thank you for helping him over the last couple of years.

He doesn’t have much family, and he asked if I was out that way if I’d stop in.

So I did today.

We talked for a bit, sat quietly for a while, and I got to say goodbye.

It really hit me on the drive back to the office how much this work matters. It’s not just about plans or paperwork… sometimes it’s just about being someone people can count on.

I’m really grateful to be able to do what I do here in this community.

And I’m thankful for moments like this that end up changing me just as much as the people I’m here to help.

If you’re someone who prays, I’d appreciate you keeping him in your prayers.

I’m reminded almost daily how many people in our community need help navigating the confusing world of Medicare.

Today, a local banker referred a client to me because he had multiple insurance deductions coming out of his account and had no idea what he was actually paying for.

We sat down together and went through everything.

He told me his wife had passed away, and she was the one who handled all of this type of stuff for him.

What we found was eye-opening 👀

He was paying over $500/month for a Medicare Supplement and also had a Medicare Advantage plan at the same time. Those two types of plans do not work together. He had no clue…

I was able to help him clear everything up so he now has the coverage he needs and isn’t paying for anything extra that isn’t working for him.

If you’re reading this, take a minute to check in on your parents or loved ones. Make sure they understand what they have.
