The FWP Group welcomes our 2026 summer interns, Landon King and John Thieman!

We’re excited to have them join us for the summer and confident they’ll make a positive impact on our team and our clients!

Landon King is majoring in Finance and Management at the University of Kentucky Gatton School of Business and was most recently named to the spring 2026 Dean’s List with a 4.0 GPA. This recognition reflects an elevated level of academic achievement and hard work that underscores Landon’s work ethic, passion to achieve, and drive for success. Landon takes immense pride in fostering a positive team culture, helping clients, and quickly adapting to new environments.

John Thieman is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Financial Management with minors in Accounting and Entrepreneurship at Clemson University in The Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business. He maintains a 4.0 GPA while participating in numerous university committees and clubs. John is eager to expand his knowledge, develop practical skills, and explore new opportunities in finance and accounting. He takes great pride in having enthusiasm paired with a strong work ethic.

🇺🇸 Our Baird Dayton branch is so grateful for the opportunity to show our gratitude for our brave and self-sacrificing military families by supporting Blue Star Families during Baird Gives Back week. We enjoyed serving coffee and brunch while learning about the Blue Star Families mission, and showing our gratitude at The Hope Hotel and Richard C. Holbrooke Conference Center.

Gellie brings over 10 years of experience in Client Relations and Services and previously worked for Reed Elsevier/LexisNexis and most recently as a Sr. Executive Client Relations Officer at PNC Bank. She holds a B.S. in Community Development from the University of the Philippines.

📣 The FWP Group is growing again and excited to announce that Meredith Schock has joined our Client Service team, where she’ll be embracing our mission to provide the best-in-class service that our valued clients have come to know and enjoy!

Meredith graduated in 2023 from Xavier University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. Prior to her graduation, she interned at both State Farm and Baird. After graduation, she expanded her financial industry experience working in Baird’s downtown Cincinnati and Rookwood offices.

🙌Thanks to the South Dayton Young Professionals for continuing their philanthropic outreach serving our communities through the annual “Make a Meal, Make a Difference” program, and allowing us to give back to our community in such a meaningful and collaborative way. Also, thanks to Life Connection of Ohio for providing an amazing space to connect and serve in this mission.

📢A big shoutout to our team of volunteers from The The FWP Group- Family Wealth Advisors who helped make over 1000 meals for local charities and their commitment to make a difference!

Last week, the South Dayton Young Professionals utilized Life Connection of Ohio's community room for its 14th annual Make A Meal Make A Difference event. Our team happily volunteered to help, and a difference certainly was made, as more than 1,100 lunches were packed for those in need!
