September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month—the perfect time to rally around the goal of ending childhood cancer. Every day, more than 1,000 children worldwide receive this devastating diagnosis. Through our partnership with Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, we’re helping fund critical research, advance new treatments, and support affected families. And in September, for every new financial plan delivered to a prospective client, the Northwestern Mutual Foundation will donate to Alex’s. It's been a slow week here at the office as we are in between events. Weeks like these sometimes make me feel like I can do more or that I am not doing enough, but I want to encourage you ,my friends, to sit in it. Sit in the quiet and the peace, and soak up the slowness because you really never know when the next wave of it will come. The "grind" never stops.

Speaking of waves, check out this picture of Niagara Falls. Jarvalen and I took a brief trip to Canada this past weekend (driving😳) and this was on our bucket list. So unreal.
