What a day. ⛳️🎉

Big I Day 2026 was officially our biggest turnout yet, and we couldn’t have asked for a better event! From great networking and friendly competition to good food, cold drinks, and surprisingly tolerable Florida weather, it was incredible seeing our industry come together for such a fun afternoon.

🌟MEMBER SPOTLIGHT🌟 Celebrating 10 years with IIACF, Bob Adamson of LRA Insurance has been a consistent presence in our community and a familiar face at some of our favorite events.

Originally from Merritt Island, Bob got his start in the industry with Sentry Insurance and has built an impressive career backed by certifications including AAI, CIC, CPIA, and RPLU. He’s also a proud alum of Brevard Community College, now Eastern Florida State College.

You’ll most likely find Bob at the IIACF Annual Big I Day golf event, his favorite on the calendar, or tuning in when standout speakers like BG Murphy and Dave Newell take the stage.

We had a phenomenal turnout yesterday at our Luncheon with the Florida Insurance Commissioner, Michael Yaworsky. On top of networking and enjoying a great meal at the , we gathered insight from our leaders at the top of our industry. We want to thank the Commissioner and former Deputy Commissioner, Lisa Miller, for taking the time to attend and share with us all. Last Thursday’s Invest Breakfast was a huge success! We were proud to award over $15,000 in scholarships to outstanding students interested in the future of our industry.
Thank you to Dr. Gabriel Carrillo, Director of the UCF RMI Program, for sharing insight into the future of the program and reminding us that while “nobody does this on purpose,” insurance truly is a great career.
