More people are asking AI for financial advice. Here's what it can't do.
Over the past year, I've noticed a shift. Pre-retirees are typing their questions into AI tools before they ever call an advisor. Questions like "Am I paying too much in taxes?" or "Is my portfolio built for income or just for growth?" or "Should I get a second opinion on my accounts at a large brokerage firm?"
Those are good questions. And AI is good at explaining concepts.
What it can't do is sit across from you, understand your family, your tax return, your goals, and how you sleep at night, and then coordinate it all into one plan.
That's the work I've done for over four decades at Artisancap:
* Comprehensive wealth management — strategies to grow, protect, and transfer your wealth
* Proactive income tax planning — designed to help you keep more of what you earn
* Disciplined asset management — risk-aware portfolio management for long-term growth
* Retirement income — strategies to help create reliable income and financial confidence
If you have questions the chatbot couldn't fully answer, I'm happy to give you a second opinion. Schedule a conversation at
