We had some special visitors today!!

Thank you, Miss Haley at Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District for showing and telling us all about Marshmallow, the box turtle. 🐢

We learned about where she lives, what she likes to eat and how she protects herself. We were able to give her some pets, too!

Is it that time of year already?!?!

Our Pastor has shared some useful resources…

There is a Back to School giveaway during the parade on Sunday starting at 2pm at the new downtown pavilion/ amphitheater. (Bookbags, clothes, school supplies, etc)

Also, our church has a Back to School Sunday this week with an indoor picnic in the Fellowship Hall following the 10:30am service.
