Recent college grads, this one’s for you 🎓
When you’re applying for a mortgage, one part of the application is showing a two-year work history. But that does not always mean you need two full years at a “real job” after graduation.
If you were recently a college student and just graduated in May, your time in school can be documented as part of that two-year history. College transcripts can count and help support your application.
This is exactly why it’s so important to talk with a lender early. There may be options available that you didn’t even realize counted.
