🇺🇸 America 250 Scholarship Recipient

Please join us in congratulating Noah Davis, a recipient of a $1,000 America 250 Scholarship from Mutual Savings Association.

Noah is a graduate of Leavenworth High School and will be attending Ottawa University in Arizona, where he will continue his education and play collegiate baseball.

As part of the America 250 Scholarship, students were asked to answer the question:

"Why is the United States of America the greatest country in history?"

Noah's essay stood out among a talented group of applicants and earned him one of five $1,000 scholarship awards.

At Mutual, we believe the future is bright because of young men and women like Noah. As America celebrates its 250th birthday, we are proud to invest in the next generation and recognize students who demonstrate a love for our country and a commitment to building a stronger future.

Mysty Phillips had a great time representing Mutual Savings Association at the Delaware Ridge Elementary career fair and talking with 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders about careers in banking. The students brought so much curiosity and energy, and we loved sharing how rewarding it is to help people save money and reach their financial goals.

At Mutual Savings Association, community involvement is part of who we are. Celebrate America’s 250th Birthday With the Next Generation

America turns 250 this year. It is a moment to reflect on the courage, freedom, and opportunity that have made this nation great.

Mutual Savings Association is honored to support the young people who will shape our future through the America 250 Scholarship. We are awarding $25,000 in scholarships to high school seniors in the communities we serve:

• $20,000 Grand Prize
• Five $1,000 Scholarships

We want to hear from students about what America means to them. The essay question is straightforward:

Why is the United States of America the greatest country in history?

Mutual has been a part of this region since 1888 when we were founded by the people we serve. We are proud to invest in the next generation of leaders and celebrate our nation’s history with them.

Submissions are due April 15, 2026. If you know a Class of 2026 senior, please share this with them.

We’ve been made aware that scammers are calling clients while spoofing our main phone number. The caller claims to be a Mutual Savings employee and may ask you to verify transactions or click a link to change your username and password.

⚠️ Do not share personal information. Mutual Savings will never contact you to request your username, password, PIN, card number, or MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) code.

If you receive a suspicious call, text, or email:
✅ Hang up or delete it immediately.
✅ Contact our Deposit Support Department directly at 913-682-3491 if you have any concerns.

💚 This is what community looks like. 🎄

Our Oskaloosa branch was overflowing with gifts, thanks to the incredible generosity of the Oskaloosa community. Together, we had the privilege of supporting approximately 115 children through this year’s Angel Tree, helping make Christmas brighter for each one.

What touched us most was that even after every angel was taken, people kept asking how else they could help. That generosity says everything about this community.

Thank you to everyone who picked an angel, shopped, wrapped, and gave. We are truly grateful and proud to serve Oskaloosa. 💙

On Christmas Eve, Mutual Savings Association will close early at 12:00 PM, and we will be closed all day on Christmas Day so our team can spend time celebrating with family.
