**ROAD CLOSURE** On May 28, 2024, Lansing will be closing 4H Road at Valley Drive. The culvert under the road is being replaced, and expected to last two weeks. Through traffic will be detoured to use W. Mary street between DeSoto (147th) and Main (K-7). All houses will be accessible during this work, however you will need to access Valley from Maple Lane, and the Wyndam Subdivision will need to be accessed from Southfork. Please allow the workers to conduct their job safely. Find alternate routes during this time frame. Be Safe!!

* At 710 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near De Soto,
moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Message of the Day: Another storm system will impact the region late Thursday into Friday, with accumulating snowfall possible. Some uncertainty remains to exact snow amounts/locations. Strong winds could create areas of blowing and drifting snow. Bitterly cold temperatures by this weekend. Air temps and wind chills below zero in some areas.

Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 34. South southwest wind 10 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 18. West wind 8 to 13 mph becoming light south southwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.
