📢 Important Medicare Part D Update for 2027

Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period is upon us, and we want to make our clients aware of an important change in how our office will be able to assist with standalone Medicare Part D prescription drug plans for 2027.

Due to changes within the Part D insurance market, Part D prescription drug plans are no longer working with independent insurance agents for enrollments. Because of this, our ability to personally complete Part D plan comparisons and enrollments have been pretty much eliminated.

But we aren’t leaving you on your own! ❤️

Reed & Associates will still be here to help guide you through the process. We have resources available to make reviewing and enrolling in a Part D plan as easy as possible, including:
• A simple step-by-step guide showing you how to review and enroll in a prescription drug plan through Medicare.gov – https://bit.ly/part-d-guide

• Limited consultation and guidance from our office when you have questions or need help understanding your options.

Calling Medicare at (800)633-4227 is also a great option.

IMPORTANT – If after reviewing your Annual Notice of change, you are happy with your current plan for 2027, then you don’t have to do anything, and your plan will continue in 2027.

❤️ An Important Reassurance for Our Clients

This change applies only to standalone Medicare Part D prescription drug plans and does NOT change your other insurance coverage or your relationship with Reed & Associates.

If we are currently your agent for your Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage, OR any other coverage, we will continue to be your agent and assist you just as we have in the past.

We’re still your insurance office — Part D is simply changing the way we’re able to assist with that one piece of your Medicare coverage.

Please know that this change is not because we no longer want to help with your prescription coverage. The Part D market has changed significantly, and we are adapting while still doing everything we reasonably can to support our clients.
