We are proud to announce that, beginning Jan. 1, 2026, Bobby Pulley will take over as the sixth CEO of Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee following the retirement of Jeff Pannell.

Mr. Pulley has been with the company since 2002 and currently serves as our Chief Marketing Officer. Since starting his career as an agent in Stewart County, he has worked his way up, proving time and time again his commitment to serving our members, supporting our agents, and carrying forward the legacy of leadership shaped by Mr. Pannell.

We look forward to this new chapter in our company’s history as we continue to support Tennesseans with the same mission to provide reliable, personal service that we always have. Congratulations, Mr. Pulley!

Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee has always had a strong commitment to protecting what matters most for families all over the state. Today, after 39 years at the company, our CEO Jeff Pannell has announced his decision to focus on what matters most for him: a growing family. After the recent birth of his first grandchild and the announcement of another grandchild on the way, he recognized it was time for him to embrace a new full-time role of being a grandfather.

During his tenure as CEO, Mr. Pannell grew our company to its strongest financial state ever. He maintained our position as the No. 1 writer of individual life insurance in Tennessee, and he helped to modernize our business process - enhancing the experience for all Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee, agents and members alike. He has served with integrity, compassion, and purpose, always putting Tennessee families first.

Though we are saddened to see him go, we wish him and his family nothing but blessings, as he has been a blessing to all of us over his nearly 40-year career.❤️
