The Mann Mortgage Story

As a native of rural North Dakota, Don Mann was familiar with the basic farmer's co-op principals. In this model, an individual farmer had a tough time selling his product or grains individually, so they formed co-ops where the farmers banned together, built an elevator, and stored their grain to negotiate with the grain buyers collectively to sell their product.

In this cooperative collective, they would receive an enhanced price for their product, and Don saw this same principle as the guiding light for Mann Mortgage. Volume speaks volumes, so his desire was to build a company with that same cooperative spirit, where originators would get together to process their product, and reap the benefits collectively.

Fast forward over 30 years later, Mann Mortgage has grown from a single loan officer in Kalispell, Montana to a vibrant branch network of over 41 branches in 11 states, with 350 employees. Licensed in 20 states, Mann Mortgage has held true to Don's plan by creating a rock- solid reputation in the markets we serve.

Since its humble beginnings, through several economic storms and unprecedented regulatory change, Mann Mortgage has continued to be a true entrepreneurial American success story.
