Charitable Giving can be an important part of a thoughtful financial plan, and we love helping clients meet their philanthropic goals! Harris Financial is proud to co-sponsor the Great Fish Community Challenge, a month-long giving campaign hosted by the Whitefish Community Foundation. This year, Great Fish brings the community together in support of 89 nonprofits across the Flathead Valley.

To show we're serious about this, we're donating $3,000 to Code Girls United! They're teaching the next generation of women how to succeed in computer literacy, business, and STEM - we love what they do and are proud to support it

Evan here. Today marks 10 years since I purchased Harris Financial from my dad.

Looking back at the young guy in this picture, I sometimes wonder whether he would have taken the leap if he had known how difficult those first few years would be. But if he had not, he also would never have discovered how rewarding this work and this business would become.

Some of life’s greatest opportunities require sacrifice, perseverance, and a lot of hard work. Perhaps that is part of what makes them so worthwhile.

I’m incredibly grateful to my dad for the amazing opportunity, to my outstanding team for all your hard work, and to the clients who have trusted us along the way. It has been quite a journey, and I’m excited about where Harris Financial is headed next.

Our favorite form of investment is investing in people’s lives! We regularly look for opportunities to develop our team, encourage their growth, and help them build greater expertise.

Recently, we sent Jenn to San Diego for a week for specialized training focused on LPL Financial’s systems and processes. And by continuing to grow our team’s knowledge and capabilities, we’re able to bring that added expertise into the work we do with our clients.

Exciting things are happening at Harris Financial — we've broken ground at the site of our future home!

We can’t wait to welcome you to our new space next year. We’ll be neighbors with the new Costco, making it even more convenient for you to stop by and visit us.
