This is a prayer my niece has composed for my brother
He has been on Dialysis for about a month but is in terrible pain because of the trestment he cant take pain meds so he is suffering and has a tough dicidion to make
This prayer says it all
Im sharing and hoping many may say the prayer for him
Thank you for your help and hope
Dear God,
I lift up my father to You with all the love in my heart.
You see him—body, mind, and spirit—in this moment of pain, fear, and uncertainty.
You know the burden he carries, and You feel the weight we all bear with him.
God, I ask first for comfort—deep, gentle, soul-level peace.
Let him feel relief in his body, and calm in his spirit, even now in the emergency room.
Ease his pain. Surround him with light, warmth, and a sense of safety that only You can give.
I pray for clarity in his heart and mind.
Let him feel empowered to choose the path that is right for him—whether to continue dialysis or not.
If he chooses to keep going, please open a way for that journey to be pain-free, sustainable, and full of dignity.
Let it not be suffering, but life-giving—let joy, connection, and comfort be possible even in the hard days.
But if his heart says “no more,”
Then God, cradle him with mercy.
Let him feel fully loved, respected, and supported.
And give us, his family, the strength to let go, to honor his choice, and to walk beside him with grace.
Please guide his doctors with wisdom and gentleness.
Let every nurse, tech, and healer who touches him carry Your compassion in their hands.
And in this moment, God… please just let him feel less alone.
Let him feel You. Let him feel us.
And let him know he is so deeply loved.
