is operating at a motor vehicle collision with injuries on Pulaski Highway (Route 40) at Joppa Road. Additional ambulances are responding.

TRAFFIC ALERT – AVOID THE AREA

* Eastbound Route 40: One lane open.
* Joppa Road: Blocked.

Engine 812 and Chief 8 are operating at a vehicle fire on northbound I-95 prior to exit 77. The left lane is blocked.

Rescue Engine 8 and Chief 81 are operating at a crash with rescue involving an overturned tractor trailer that has all lanes of Northbound I-95 blocked before exit 74 (MD-152) in Joppa. Three EMS units and Harford County Department of Emergency Services Hazmat Team have been called.

On October 15th, JMVFC was proud to celebrate William “Bill” Lay at the 40th Annual Harford’s Most Beautiful People Awards Ceremony, hosted by County Executive Bob Cassilly.

Bill was recognized for more than 60 years of volunteer service to Harford County and the JMVFC. Since joining the JMVFC in 1965, he has served as Fire Chief, President for six terms, and a member of the Board of Directors for more than 30 years. His service has also strengthened the fire and EMS community across Harford and Cecil counties and throughout Maryland.

Bill’s dedication, wisdom, and guidance have made a lasting difference. We’re grateful for all he has given to our company and community, and proud to celebrate this recognition with him.

Engine 812, Rescue Engine 8, and Chief 81 are operating at multiple brush fires along southbound I-95 past exit 74. Use caution as firefighters are working in the right lane and on the slow shoulder. SLOW DOWN & MOVE OVER.

Truck 8 is assisting Baltimore County Fire Department at a house fire in the 5500 block of Overlook Circle in White Marsh. Additional volunteers remain in station for other calls in our area.
