My grandfather, (here in the first picture in my former classroom in his early 90’s), is about to receive his heavenly reward. And even though he’s 101, I’m not ready. I know he is. He’s told us all. He is my inspiration and has taught me so very many lessons. He’s why I don’t say “can’t” and why I do my best not to worry. Do you think that your senior years don’t matter? They really do. Do you think no one is listening? They are. Ask his great grandchildren who’ve grown up to know him well. He’s our hero. My WWII story teller, and the head of a family who has learned to love Jesus is getting ready to meet him. And he will see my sisters again. All three of them. And he will be in eternity with my Italian grandmother. Oh, what a reunion that will be.

It’s been a wild day. After a medical test this morning, not stopping in appointments even to eat, (except I have a very protective husband who watches over me), I’m still smiling. Why? Because this work MATTERS! Today I helped a gentleman figure out how to retire. We discussed Medicare coverage that would allow him to quit working for benefits. (I cried with him). Next, I helped a family who just moved here. We worked through the ACA marketplace and although it’s an involved case, I know what I’m looking for and assured them I would get back to them with the very best option. Lastly, I helped a client reduce her monthly costs from $1500 a month for high deductible insurance to $500 a month for a much better coverage option. I have more homework for some of my clients and another to call. I LOVE what I do. And even with chopping my hair off and having to get use to it, it’s been a very good day… and week. And I love my Brian for how he takes care of me. Happy Friday!!!

💪✨ Mondays are one of my favorite parts of the week! ✨💪

Every Monday at 9:15 AM, I teach a Strength & Stability Class at the Johnson City Senior Center, and I absolutely love seeing everyone grow stronger and more confident each week!

This class focuses on:
✔️ Balance
✔️ Stability
✔️ Strength building
✔️ Fall prevention
✔️ Functional movement for everyday life

Many of the exercises are inspired by techniques I’ve learned from watching physical therapists and studying movements that help improve stability, mobility, and confidence. The goal is simple: help people stay active, independent, and feeling their best. ❤️

You do NOT have to be super athletic to join us. We encourage one another, laugh a lot, and work at a pace that feels comfortable and safe.
