Not all lenders work Sunday mornings. A lot of them don’t work Sundays at all.

But I’m pretty sure Realtors do.

It’s very important to me to be available to my real estate partners, and of course their buyers. This one was an 8:30 PM phone call last night… agent had shown potential buyers a property, and they hadn’t yet been pre-approved…

Now, of course, in a perfect world, I would’ve already had a chat with the buyers and they would’ve completed an application and submitted documents that I would have checked in detail, verified income and ran automated underwriting to get a true pre-approval.

Life doesn’t always work perfectly… so we connected at 8:45 PM, an application was submitted by 9:30 PM and documents were received this morning by 9 AM.

They are now preapproved to make an offer on their potential dream home…
