The listing agent called us for another look, and we found a path forward.

One possible factor? Concerns surrounding AI investment and the debt being raised for new infrastructure may be shifting more money into the bond market, which can help interest rates.

It’s too early to call it a trend, but two consecutive weeks of improvement is welcome news.

Buy Before You Sell Tip #3: Your current mortgage payment may not have to count against you.

With certain loan programs, buyers who have enough equity in their current home may be able to purchase the next home without including their existing mortgage payment in the debt-to-income calculation, as long as they intend to sell the property.

Specific equity, down payment, and eligibility requirements apply. If recasting or a bridge loan isn’t the right fit, this could be another option worth exploring.
