Here is some credit hacks today because most people are struggling with their credit score.

1. Keep your credit card usage under 30%… I recommend 10%. If your card has a $1,000 limit your balance should report under $100. High utilization will drop your score fast.

2. Pay your credit cards BEFORE the statement date, not just the due date. The statement balance is what reports to the credit bureaus.

3. If you have collections, don’t rush to pay them without a strategy. Sometimes they can be removed completely if they can’t verify the debt correctly.

4. Authorized user accounts are a cheat code. Getting added to an older card with good history can boost your score quick.

5. Stop applying for a bunch of credit cards at once. Every inquiry drops your score and too many makes lenders nervous.

Most people learned bad information which brought them to have bad credit. Know better. Do better.

Fix the mistakes, learn the system, and watch your score move.
