The official launch of Sunset Mesa Financial & Insurance Solutions is in the books!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with me at the Chicken Coop. Having so many friends, family, colleagues, and supporters together in one room made the evening incredibly special. And a big thank you to Dano Forte for providing the soundtrack to the celebration! 🎶

I’m hosting an event this Thursday at The Chicken Coop in Newport Beach with Dano Forte, the One Man Band, and I’d love for you to come. I’m launching Sunset Mesa Financial under the New York Life umbrella, and I’m truly excited to share this next step. Nothing has changed with New York Life. This brand is simply my way of creating a more personal experience for my clients and reflecting the way I want to serve them. I chose the name Sunset Mesa as a nod to my family’s company Sunset Landscape, where I grew up learning the importance of keeping your word and treating people with integrity. The program focused on the legal side of HOA maintenance, featuring insights from Kara Beers, Mark_Guithues, and David_Rauch. Loved being there to learn, connect, and support our community together — excited to see Aubryauna jump in and make her mark with CAI‑OC.

The HB 80s Surf Contest delivered in every way. Hurricane Rachel pushed in a historic swell that lit up Huntington Beach, even as Newport and Long Beach faced unfortunate flooding, closures, and widespread coastal disaster. The 17th St. Board Shop crew put on an incredible event, the waves were firing, and the 80s nostalgia made it even better. What a weekend.
