The best part of any conference? The connections made off stage.

Our VP Mayumi Bowers and President Jeff LaMotte represented Val-Chris Investments at Fortra Conferences in Las Vegas last month, and while Jeff’s panel on loan servicing made headlines (see our last post), it was the conversations in between that made the trip worth it.

VCI Recently Funded Investment Properties 🌇🏙️ Even though we close a good deal of loans on residential properties, we can lend on most types of commercial buildings as well. Below are just a couple of examples:

Church Property Financing (1st Trust Deed)
We successfully funded a $800,000 first trust deed secured by a commercial church property in California. Non-traditional property types like churches are frequently overlooked by institutional lenders, but we understand how to underwrite these assets responsibly, and providing borrowers with needed capital while maintaining strong collateral fundamentals.
 
Industrial Condo Junior Financing (2nd Trust Deed)
We also closed a second trust deed secured by a mixed-use / industrial condominium. Industrial condos can present unique challenges for conventional lenders, especially in junior lien positions. We’re comfortable evaluating these assets and structuring solutions that help borrowers unlock equity efficiently.
