Do you actually know what your deductibles are? 😅

The long term care benefits are great - a flat amount is paid rather than submitting receipts and requesting reimbursement. Another perk? You don’t have to live in a facility to receive benefits! The best part? If you don’t end up needing the long term care portion of the product, it’s still life insurance!

Earlier this year, I stepped in to help as our team’s Claims Advocate. The experience has increased my knowledge on coverages and claims quite a bit. And, it has also helped me write GOOD policies with great coverage - coverage you want when things go wrong!

That being said, there are so many different coverages that are available that aren’t automatically added to home and auto policies. These coverages are used so often when a loss occurs. If you dont have them, you may not be covered!

If you’re unsure if you have what you need, or what I’d recommend after working claims, reach out! I’m more than happy to review your policies for you!

If you live in a flood zone, you know just how expensive flood insurance can be. But, did you know you may have options?

I recently had the opportunity of looking over a flood policy that was renewing at the end of November! After reviewing the current policy, it was clear that the insured was lacking in coverages. After quoting, it was clear they were also overpaying.

Original Policy: $1,645
Building: $157,000 ($2,000 deductible)
Contents: No Coverage
Loss of Use: No Coverage

New Policy: $712.38
Building: $200,000 ($1,000 deductible)
Contents: $20,000 ($1,000 deductible)
Loss of Use: $5,000
