Looking for something to do this weekend? Why not take a little getaway to Haleiwa, like we did last weekend? In the heart of Haleiwa, is Ray's Kiawe Broiled Chicken, a client of producer Aaron Nishikawa.

We had no problem finding parking, and got in line. In no time, we were greeted with a smile by Kairah. Their chicken is seasoned with their own special spice blend and broiled over kiawe wood. We headed to a nearby park to enjoy our food on a beautiful day.

On our menu:
• Plate Lunch: Half chicken, rice, pineapple coleslaw, and their Grandma's Sauce.
• Whole Chicken: Chopped and great the next day.
• Pineapple Coleslaw: Fresh and savory with a hint of sweet pineapple.
• Grandma's Sauce: Tangy, spicy, and a perfect pairing with the chicken!
• Dessert: Pineapple cake and banana bread.

West Emperor brings Hong Kong-style dim sum to the heart of West Oahu. Located in Kapolei Commons (former La Tour space), West Emperor is a client of producer Ridge Yoshida.

We joined Ridge for lunch at Hawaii's first Japanese-Chinese fusion restaurant where everything is cooked to order.

We had the pleasure of meeting Chef and Owner Victor Jian, who recommended their wagyu specialties.

We ordered two of their specialities:
• Wagyu Chow Fun with Black Pepper Sauce, featuring tender pieces of wagyu beef.
• Wagyu Manapua

And, of course, we couldn't pass up some of our dim sum favorites!

It was dinner time, and we were in the mood for takeout, so we stopped by Sam’s Delicatessen, a client of producer Saejin Choi.

If you're craving local Korean food, Sam's Delicatessen has plenty to choose from!

We couldn't decide, so we got everything we were craving.

A side order of Fried Chicken Wings, Bi Bim Kook Soo, and a combination plate with Kalbi and BBQ Chicken.

We also love that we can choose our own sides! We went with Kimchi, Chap Chae, Broccoli, and Cucumber Kimchi.

For Maui-based FAM Hawaii, family is at the heart of everything they do. A client of producer Blaine Bernades, FAM Hawaii is locally owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Daython and Zhorein Galincinao. Celebrating its 11th anniversary, FAM Hawaii features locally designed clothing and accessories for the entire family.

Their Oahu store at Pearlridge Uptown will also celebrate its first anniversary next month. We stopped by, met Jane and Beth, and browsed their collections of menswear, womenswear, youth clothing, and accessories. For today's Pyramid Producer Spotlight, we're heading to the Valley Isle to meet Zchara De Fries from our Maui office.

Zchara began her career at Pyramid Insurance as a receptionist before transitioning to Customer Service then advancing to her current position as Producer. Her customer service experience has given Zchara a strong foundation in understanding customer needs, communicating effectively, and building relationships. She brings that experience to her role as Producer, helping her clients navigate their insurance needs with care and attention.

Outside of work, Zchara enjoys photography, graphic design, reading, and spending time with her family.

We head to Kauai for today’s Producer Spotlight as we feature Tyrone Brown, a producer in our Kauai office. Born and raised in Southern California, Tyrone graduated from Highland High School before relocating to Hawaii in 2001. He attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where he studied Political Science and was recruited to play football for the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, fishing, bodyboarding, hunting, and helping at his wife's family farm in Kapahi on Kauai.

Today’s Producer Spotlight features Ryan Agustin, a producer in our Waiakamilo office. Born in Honolulu and raised in Waianae, Ryan graduated from Punahou School before earning a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Southern California. He is licensed in Property & Casualty insurance in Hawaii. Ryan and his wife, Danielle, are active in their church and local community and share their home with their Yorkie-Poo, Kona. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, exploring the outdoors, and learning more about business, sales, and personal development.

For today’s Producer Spotlight, we head to Kauai to meet Justice Levinthol.
Born and raised on Kauai, Justice began his career with Pyramid in customer service and has since grown into his role as a Producer.

A graduate of Kapaa High School, Justice has strong ties to the Kauai community. He also attended Citrus College in California, where he earned a degree in Radio Technology and Sound Engineering.

When he’s not helping clients, Justice enjoys spending time with his family and golfing.
