Feel like you could use a vacation? Don't worry, we've all been there.

Unfortunately, scammers are trying to take advantage of your desire to get away from it all.

Fraudsters will post gorgeous photos of vacation rentals on sites like Airbnb or VRBO with prices that seem too good to be true...because they are.

As soon as you give your deposit, the booking disappears along with your money.

The red flags to look out for are prices that seem shockingly low, vague details, or pictures that seem incongruent with what you'd be renting.
