We love seeing everyone celebrate and enjoy the summer festivities, but we want to put out a gentle reminder about fireworks and our local business community.
Please remember that business parking lots, walkways, and storefronts are private property. While it might look like an open space to light off a few sparklers or fountains, it is not public land.
More importantly, leaving behind spent fireworks, cardboard boxes, and debris for business owners and employees to clean up the next morning isn’t just a safety hazard—it's incredibly unfair to the folks who work hard to keep our town running.
If you choose to light fireworks, please:
Always ask permission before using a location that isn't your own property.
Pack it in, pack it out. Bring a trash bag and clean up every single piece of debris.
Dispose of waste safely. Make sure spent fireworks are completely soaked in water before throwing them away.
Let’s keep our community clean, safe, and respectful of the local businesses that support us all year round.
