What a great weekend out in our communities!

Our Waco Team spent some time at The Great Waco Duck Race, benefiting the Imagination Library of Waco.

We also stopped by the Whitesboro Area Chamber of Commerce’s 60th Annual Peanut Festival! 🥜

Today is National Get Smart About Credit Day! 💳

Get Smart About Credit is a campaign focused on helping students understand the importance of budgeting, building credit, and making smart financial decisions.

At First State Bank, we believe it's never too early to learn about building credit and managing money. That's why over the next few weeks, we're partnering with local schools to bring these valuable lessons to middle and high school students.

First State Bank had a busy weekend! ❤️

We started Saturday morning at Depot Day, where we had a booth and let kids color their own T-shirts. It was so much fun seeing what all the kids came up with! Thank you Joe Conner Designs for designing the shirts! If you stopped by our booth, we’d love to see how your kids’ T-shirts turned out! Share a picture in the comments! 🎨📸

Later that day, we attended Zoobilee! It was such a fun event supporting the Frank Buck Zoo. We were happy to be part of a great evening benefiting our local zoo.🦒

Our Celina team also partnered with Rodeo SC to hand out water bottles at Old Celina Park. Stop by and see them again on October 23rd for their free Skills Clinic.❤️

Yesterday, we spent some time on the course at the Boys & Girls Club of Cooke County County golf tournament. ⛳

Overall, it was a great weekend getting out in our communities and spending time with the people who make them so special!
