If you do hit a deer, remember:
1. Get to Safety: Pull over, turn on your hazard lights, and move to a safe location. Don't approach the deer if it's injured or still alive.
2. Call local law enforcement: if there is significant damage, injuries, or a road hazard to other drivers.
3. Document the damage: Take photos of the road and your vehicle when safe to do so.
4. Call your insurance agent: Our job is to advise you both on your good days, and the bad ones. This helps expedite the process to get you back on the road.
