Before Purchasing a Vehicle You Should:
1. Submit a completed Form MCDP-AP, Motor Carrier Direct Pay Application
2. Receive your MCDP authorization letter
3. Provide the authorization letter to the seller at the time of purchase without an approved MCDP authorization, you will be charged full Minnesota sales tax.

‼️The following documents must be maintained on file with your IRP account:
· Form ST3 (MCDP authorization letter) Minnesota tax ID issuance letter

Operation Safe Driver Week is scheduled for July 12-18. 📣

Commercial motor vehicle drivers and passenger vehicle drivers who are demonstrating unsafe driving behaviors will be identified by law enforcement personnel and issued a warning or ticket/citation.
