This year’s dry weather during construction season means crews were able to get a lot of pipe into the ground. To date, more than 40 miles of pipe is installed for the RRVWSP. The project will convey water in buried pipelines from the McClusky Canal in central North Dakota, along Highway 200 to the Sheyenne River north of Lake Ashtabula. When constructed, it will provide a supplemental and emergency water supply to rural water systems and communities in central and eastern North Dakota.
