31 years ago, Oklahoma City was attacked. The world responded. Each year, I stop to think about how the entire community came together and I think about how our city has grown out of that horrible day. My prayer is that we continue to remember that we are a community and that we work together to solve problems and not create new ones.

Meeting with legislators all day on Capitol Hill. Things are crazy with the State of the Union tonight. We’ve seen protestors dressed in inflatable frog suits, 10x the security, and everything is fenced off so it’s hard to get around.
