PSA - If you are thinking about refinancing right now, please make sure you’re working with a solid, reputable lender and a loan officer who actually knows what they’re doing.

Not one of these pop-up “call-center specials” that feel like they’re selling used car warranties, insurance, gap insurance, or timeshares between calls.

I’m hearing way too many stories lately about refi offers that look good on the surface but are full of high costs and almost no real benefit.

Look—I know cash flow is tight for a lot of folks. But don’t spend $10,000 just to save $70 a month. That math does not check out.

And no… you don’t “skip two payments.” Those payments get rolled right back into your loan.

If you want an honest, straight-up opinion from someone who actually puts veterans and families first…
