🗣️Listen up.

Business owners thinking about hiring: the goal is to NOT be the bottleneck in your business.

Before you bring anybody on, make sure you have SOPs and training documents.

You wouldn't take a job where somebody just verbally explained everything to you once. 🚩🚩🚩

Your team shouldn't have to work that way either. Your process has to work the same way every time, so they're not coming back to you asking how to do it.

Here's how I run mine:
👉🏾 I get an end-of-shift report
👉🏾 I get a good-morning text
👉🏾 Every process has a video AND a written SOP

When I'm doing something new, I record myself in Loom, take the notes, and drop them into ChatGPT or Claude. It turns them into an SOP for me, and I add more detail where it's needed.

🚨 BUSINESS OWNERS 🚨

🗣️TEST YOUR BOOKING PROCESS BEFORE YOU BLAME ANOTHER NO-SHOW. 📲

Grab a different email address and book a test consultation with your business.

Then check these 4 things:

1️⃣ DID THE CONFIRMATION ARRIVE?
Does it show the correct date, time, time zone, and meeting link?

2️⃣ CAN YOU ACTUALLY JOIN?
Tap the meeting link from your phone. Does it take you where your client needs to go?

3️⃣ CAN YOU RESCHEDULE?
Open the reschedule link. Make sure someone can change their appointment without having to chase you down.

4️⃣ DO THE REMINDERS ARRIVE?
Keep the test appointment long enough to receive each scheduled reminder. Check the actual messages, not just whether the workflow says “published.”

Fix anything missing, then book another test.

Your client shouldn’t have to work to figure out how to meet with you.

DISPUTED AN ACCOUNT AND IT CAME BACK “VERIFIED”? 👀

Before you send the same dispute again, do this:

1️⃣ PULL OUT YOUR ORIGINAL DISPUTE
What EXACTLY did you ask them to investigate? “Remove this account” doesn’t explain what’s wrong.

2️⃣ COMPARE THE RESULTS WITH YOUR RECORDS
If you disputed an incorrect late payment, compare that month’s payment history with your statement and payment confirmation.

3️⃣ FOLLOW UP WITH THE SPECIFIC ERROR
Here’s wording you can personalize:

“I disputed the [month/year] late payment on [account]. Your response says the information was verified, but my attached records show [explain what they show]. Please investigate this specific discrepancy and correct any inaccurate reporting.”

Include your original dispute confirmation, the results, and copies of your evidence. Keep your originals.

“Verified” is a response. Read what they actually addressed before deciding your next move.

This is the side of business people don’t talk about.

Having a team doesn’t mean you stop checking in. Sometimes you have to step back in, shake the room, reset expectations, and make sure everybody is doing what they said they would do.

You can delegate the work. You still have to lead.

And sometimes leadership happens before you’ve even changed clothes.
