Nine months ago, I met a family as they started planning a big move. They were selling their home in California, relocating to Texas, changing jobs, and wanting to be closer to extended family.

This one is really special. When we first talked, they didn’t think owning a home was realistic for them. Fast forward to now, they’ve got the keys to their first home! We came up with a plan, stayed consistent, and they trusted the process the whole way through. I was even able to beat the builder’s lender on both rate and closing costs, which means real savings upfront and over time!

Baker to Vegas 2026 was such a vibe!

Buy It, Fix It, Keep It, Repeat brought together first-time home buyers, investors, and homeowners all learning side by side. Trust, connection and partnerships made in room full of people who all want to learn more. This is what is all about.

Shoutout to for breaking down how to spot the right properties, and to all of our attendees who. Everyone either asked questions, shared their experiences and provided value to the room.

FUSE by AIME in Nashville did not disappoint! 🤠 It was first time attending AND in Tennessee! The energy was unmatched-powerful speakers, genuine connections, and so much inspiration in one place.

For those unfamiliar, AIME (the Association of Independent Mortgage Experts) is a national organization that brings together mortgage brokers, lenders, and industry leaders who believe in collaboration over competition. Their focus is on education, advocacy, and strengthening the independent channel, which ultimately helps us serve our clients better.

I had the best time learning, connecting, and being surrounded by others like me- passionate about helping families build wealth through homeownership. And getting to experience it all alongside an amazing group of women in mortgage made it even more meaningful.

About a year ago, I took my first out-of-state trip for a women in mortgage retreat. I knew two people before I arrived and left with 3 more close friends and a whole community of women in mortgage 👑 I am fulfilled, supported, and grateful for the relationships I’ve built in short time. This business can feel lonely at times, but not anymore.

When we opened escrow, rates were higher. By the time we closed, they had improved—and we were able to capture the lower rate, even though the loan was already locked in.

For those new to the process, a rate lock means your interest rate is set once your home is in escrow. But here’s the difference: not all lenders are created equal. The right lender has the ability to adapt and fight for the best outcome when the market shifts.

A buyer came to me after a year of trying with no success. Their original lender had them on a program sellers didn’t trust, so every offer kept getting passed over.
