Buying in Colorado Springs and wondering how you’ll cover the upfront costs? You may have more options than you think.

In this post, I break down two of them:

CHFA down payment assistance: a grant or a second mortgage (one or the other), used with an eligible CHFA first mortgage.

Central Bank’s HomeTurf Loan Program: up to a $5,000 lender credit for qualifying borrowers in the Colorado Springs and Denver areas.

The biggest number isn’t always the best fit. What matters is how the assistance, your rate, your monthly payment and your cash to close all work together.
