Meet Joe Womac, Assistant Vice President and Home Lender at Park National Bank.

With 23 years of experience in home lending, Joe is passionate about helping individuals and families achieve their dream of homeownership.

"After 23 years in mortgage lending, what I enjoy most is helping people achieve homeownership. Whether it's guiding a first-time homebuyer, helping a family find their forever home or creating a plan for someone who isn't quite ready today, I love showing people that homeownership is possible. There's nothing more rewarding than helping someone turn what seems like a distant goal into reality."

When he's not helping clients navigate the homebuying process, Joe stays active in the community through the local Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement, the River Counties Association of Realtors and Central Church of Christ. He also serves as a committee member with the River Counties Association of Realtors.

A fun fact about Joe: He's been raising Bernedoodle puppies for the past 12 years. His puppies can be found in nearly every state and in several countries around the world.

As part of Park’s commitment to supporting education in our community, we are proud to partner with Classroom Central and the Carolina Panthers to help local students start the school year ready for success.

Our Park team filled 432 backpacks with essential school supplies that Classroom Central will distribute to students across the region. As schools open their doors for a new year, these backpacks will help ensure students have the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

Our Charlotte team participated in a meaningful volunteer event with Families Forward Charlotte. We packed 100 weekend food packs for local children and families experiencing food insecurity. We are proud to support the important work of Families Forward Charlotte, an organization dedicated to partnering with families living in poverty throughout the Charlotte area and helping create pathways to stability and success.Together, we can make a positive impact in our community—one family at a time.

Our CLT Park team packed a record breaking 888 Kits for a Cause to support Classroom Central including Art, Dental, and STEM kits. These supplies will directly help teachers equip their students with the essential tools they need to succeed. A huge thank you to our volunteers for making a tangible difference in our community.

Our Charlotte team had an amazing time at Junior Achievement Finance Park this year, helping students in grades 7–9 learn essential life skills like personal financial planning, career exploration, and budgeting. Through hands-on simulations, these young students are gaining the tools they need to make smart decisions about income, expenses, and savings.

A big thank you to the Park Foundation for providing financial support to keep this impactful program going strong!

We’re honored to support Roof Above, a vital community partner in Charlotte dedicated to assisting our homeless neighbors. Through street outreach, day services, emergency shelter, and permanent supportive housing, they provide hope and stability.
