A few winters ago here in Southern Utah, temperatures dropped well below freezing and the power went out at an HOA complex.
Without heat, it didn't take long before the pipes inside the buildings started bursting.
By the time it was all said and done — tens of thousands of dollars in water damage.
Here's the thing though: because they had the right coverage in place under an association master policy, they were taken care of.
Every single dollar.
That's the whole point. You don't buy insurance hoping something goes wrong. You buy it so that when something does — and eventually something always does — it doesn't take down everything you've built.
The right coverage isn't an expense. It's the reason you're still standing after the worst day your business has ever seen.
If you're part of an HOA board or manage any kind of association and you're not sure what your master policy actually covers, let's talk.
