Please welcome Jason Hershberger to the Specialty Risk Insurance team!
Jason has been in the horse business his whole life, and he brings that experience to every client he works with. Based in Congress, Arizona, he has 10 years in the insurance industry and focuses on equine, farm and ranch, PRF, and commercial coverage.
Before insurance, and still today, Jason trains performance Quarter Horses in roping, cow horse, and cutting. He earned his degree in Equine Science and Management at the University of Arizona, where he rode on the rodeo team. He's also an NRCHA and AQHA approved judge who works several major shows every year, and he produces an annual performance horse sale in Scottsdale. The 22nd annual sale is set for February 26, 2027.
When he's off the clock, you'll find him training young rope horses and heading to team roping jackpots. He also loves coaching young horsemen. In his words, he's "had plenty of the hard days" figuring it out, and he'd like to save them a few.
His advice to clients: the right coverage on your business and your assets gives you real peace of mind. He says, "I am here to help them and make their life easier."
