Although I wasn't able to attend the presentation in person this year, the Shelter Insurance Foundation Scholarship was awarded to Caelyn Samuelson at last night's ceremony. This was the tenth year that I have sponsored this scholarship and awarded it to a graduating senior from Carthage R-9 School District. I wish Caelyn all the best as she attends college in the fall and I'm very grateful to the committee of Carthage High School officials that selected Caelyn for this scholarship. The honor is based on her scholastic achievements and community activities. Congratulations Caelyn Samuelson!
