Hello members! We recently got a phone call from one of our Butte members informing us of a spam call they received. The caller acted as though they were calling from the Mountain West fraud department and tried getting the member to give them their card information. Please do not give your debit card information out to ANYONE, these are not legitimate calls.

If our real fraud department does call you, they will already have your card information, you will never be asked to provide it. If you have even the slightest concern about a phone call you are getting, please hang up and call one of the branch's directly, we will be able to look into the matter for you.

Thank you! Stay safe

Good Morning! If any of our members have been trying to call the Butte branch, we are having some issues with our phones, we believe there is water in the lines, so we can't hear you when you talk. We know this is a pain, but if you have general account questions, please feel free to reach out to our Libby branch, and they will be able to access your accounts and give you the information you need as well as transfer funds or do things like Easy Writer loans. Their phone number is 406-293-6421. They have been made aware of the issues we are having and are happy to help!

You can send us messages through Facebook, and we will try and check those as frequently as we can today, or you can email me (Katie) and I will do my best to answer any questions or forward your email to our staff so they can help you. My email is [email protected]

We are working with CenturyLink to get this problem resolved as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience! Thank you for your patience and understanding!

You will also not be able to check your account balances via atm. We are no longer on real time, so all account information will not be available until online banking is back up on Sunday.

Also, the $600 POS limit and $205 atm limit is total, not per transaction.

03/29/2024

Good morning,

This is just a reminder to all members that we are CLOSED today. We are in the process of changing over the new core system and will not be open until Monday at 2pm.

Again, your online banking WILL NOT WORK today but should be available Sunday after 2pm.

Your debit cards will work, but they are now in "stand-in" mode and not real time, meaning the limits have changed.

Right now, your point-of-sale limit on your debit cards is $600 dollars, and the atm limit is set at $205. You also will only have 25 transactions total in the 24 hour period, which will reset at 2am. That being said, if your card has been declined this morning or you are trying to run it for more than the $600 or pull more than $200 out of the ATM, you will be declined. Also, each time you try your card counts as a transaction, which means you are limiting the number of times you have left to swipe your card today.

We know this is inconvenient, but again, we ask that you hang in with us over the weekend. We will be back to normal Monday and our offices will be open Monday at 2PM.

We hope you all have a great weekend and happy Easter, thank you!

Good Morning Everyone!

We are getting closer to our system being switched over, and I wanted to just send out some important dates and information to ensure we are all on the same page and you know what to expect!

We will be closed this Friday, March 29th until Monday, April 1st at 2PM. During this time, staff will be upgrading the system and loading new equipment.
Online banking will be unavailable starting March 29th until 2PM March 31st.
TODAY IS THE LAST DAY REMOTE DEPOSITS WILL BE AVAILABLE UNTIL APRIL 1st!

We would also like to make sure that once we are back up, you are checking your accounts to make sure your payroll is distributing as it should. Please also make sure that you download any statements you wish to keep.

We are continuing to do our best to make sure this transition is as seamless as possible, but as with all things, I am sure there will be a few bumps in the road, and we ask that you continue to be patient and communicate with us if something doesn't look right. We are really excited about this change, and we hope that you are as well.

If you have any questions, or need help downloading or printing statements, please don't hesitate to contact us at either branch!

Thank you!

Katie

Happy Friday!

We just wanted to send out a quick message to let you all know that Saturday evening, and potentially Sunday during the day, we will be updating our servers.

We are hoping that most of the updates will be happening late Saturday evening so that there is little to no effect on member debit cards, but please know that if you do experience issues, it is only temporary!

We hope this won't be an issue, but we wanted to let everyone know in advance just in case!

We hope you all have a fantastic weekend and appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to try to be the best for our members!

Thank you!

Good News! Our systems are all back up and running! Your debit cards and online banking should be working, and we are now able to see your account and process your transactions as well.

We know having our system down was a major inconvenience for you all and want to apologize again for that. Thank you for being so patient and understanding. We worked and will continue to work hard to make sure we are providing the best service we can to our members.

Thank you all again, we hope you have a great rest of your week!

02/15/2023

UPDATE: Your cards will be temporarily unavailable for use while we restart our system. They should only be out for about an hour, so hopefully this doesn't cause too much of an inconvenience to anyone.

We truly do apologize; we know it is less than ideal to not have access to your account but know that we are working our hardest to get this taken care of and have everything back up and running as quickly as possible.

We will continue to update you.

Good Morning Members:

We just wanted to let you know that our system is currently being updated, so we are unable to complete any transactions or help you with your account for the time being.

Your debit cards and online banking should be working just fine, there was simply an error with our IT department getting our side of things updated properly.

We will keep you posted and let you know when we are back up and running. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Happy Hump Day
