Honoring a Legacy in Our Community

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Garland Justice Roberts, one of our founding directors and a true pillar of our community.

Garland played an instrumental role in establishing Peoples Bank & Trust and helping shape the values we continue to live by today—local service, strong relationships, and a commitment to supporting our neighbors and local businesses.

We are grateful for his leadership, vision, and friendship. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this time.

Funeral arrangements:
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA. Interment will follow at Level Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery, Suwanee, GA.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home.
