Full Moon of October perfects 9:12 pm Pacific on Saturday the 25th. A lunar event of extremes should be no surprise in this time of building, peaking and passing extremes. Not the least of which is the exquisite beauty of this lunation, not to be missed while taking care not to focus too much on what’s gone wrong. One after another, and at times all at once, we’re confronted with the most crucial problems of our own creation, both individually and all together as a species in crisis. Bitter truths arise into public awareness like the flames of a fire about to consume all. But this is only the next layer of waking up to the reality that we are earthly/divine beings, souls on a journey, each a crucial part of a miraculous universe.

Lights shine directly on what must be allowed to self destruct, becoming compost for the new structures of an altogether new world. The excellent news is that as we go with the process of decay by removing our support and interaction with all that ails society magnificent forces of Earth and Cosmos aligned reveal a golden path before us. In many ways, big and small, saying “no” to the relentlessly increasing requirements demanded of us is something to remain aware of day to day. As would be victims of an artificial reality being created to keep us contained and separated, misinformed and powerless in more and more areas of life, our sovereignty is supported each time and in any way we opt out.

Flimflammery has become the method of governance, big business, education, even the sciences and medicine taken over by corporate interests. Realistically been a big part of those areas for a very long time as so many brilliant and progressive thinkers, philosophers and poets have been telling us all along. Now the awakening of the masses continues to the utter futility of working with the current power structure, with substantial waves of rebellion playing out at home and worldwide. From the personal to local community actions, the awakened send ripples outward into the national and international realms. Humanity on a mission to transform into the endlessly creative beings we’ve been all along, collaborating in the joy working and playing together. Outer planets Pluto, Uranus and Neptune have been singing that tune for many years now. In present time they’re aligned as never before accelerating and harmonizing the transformation of all transformations. Of a magnitude not seen in the last many thousands of years, which explains the intensity of the death and birth pangs we’re going through.

That means all of us incarnate at this time are most privileged as well as amply challenged as chosen participants, a perspective which, if taken on, may provide tremendous support and even comfort in the midst of the most daunting situations.

Ta**us Moon at 3rd degree joined by Chiron and Eris oppose Sun in Scorpio consorting with retrograde Venus, all forming a T-Square with Pluto and Juno in Aquarius. Great potency for both good and bad trouble indeed! Manipulations, deceptions, all uses and abuses of power lit up for all to see clearly particularly in the areas of relationships, all areas of one to one personal, professional, social, political or commercial interactions. This is the illumination point where we get the insights needed to make most effective, wisest and compassionate decisions over the coming weeks.

Venus in remember and review phase leaves no stone unturned digging into the depths of the heart and soul in the profoundly excavating and perceptive sign Scorpio. Her laser focus in Scorpio revealing any out of integrity or ineffective uses of resources, as well as how we acquire them, and the often so tricky area of shared resources. Fire Horse Reigns: October 12 2026
It may be air sign Libra’s month but make no mistake Fire Horse very much in charge until the next change in next year’s Chinese Astrology. Libra New Moon at 18th degree 8:50 am PDT on the 10th initiated a 2 week phase rich with opportunities for starting anew in partnerships, alliances and the clarity to see the changes needed. Explorations in this theme and in very big ways in matters of social justice continue through the Venus retrograde period ending November 13. Divisiveness abounds while we all go through the birth pangs of true, authentic human vales and what they mean for each of us in our own personal lives. Yes the personal is the political and never before been so acutely necessary to acknowledge. Now is a significant time for determining the qualities we intend to go forward with in all those areas. Standing in our truth and core values creates the most stable, productive and safe grounding possible. Relationships in any form going through changes that have been simmering beneath the surface and have come to a point of no way forward without mutual agreements on what the commitments are about.

As both Venus and Mercury have retrogrades in Scorpio details will be presenting themselves as to how to go about achieving the best outcomes. But we need to be prepared for the darker issues arising in this period in order to make truly beneficial decisions for all involved. Being shown where the real problems are cannot, or for our own good should not, be denied. Along with the unsavory and hard to swallow are the remedial actions revealed to keep ourselves from falling into fear and pessimism, a sense of helpless ness.

With Pluto, guide through the underworld, turning direct on the 15th all that’s been hidden or misrepresented comes to light in even more dramatic exposes of how power has been abused in everything from personal relationships to government, extending into international agreements and manipulations. Truth and Illusion

Venus, guardian of the heart, attracting force that draws to us people, resources, what we magnetize for good or ill, makes her rare retrograde starting this week. Rare only because she does that review backward pass every other year. The shadow period began August 31 when Venus crossed the degree that will be backed up to before turning direct November 13, which is the same day Mercury turns direct as well. Makes the retrograde periods of these 2 planets particularly crucial for the metamorphosis of our desires, values, perceptions, attitudes and re-working how we use resources, among many other things. Individually and collectively.

The Scorpio phases of Venus and Mercury in this period ensure we get down into the darkest, most secretive places regarding our personal and cultural experiences of sexuality, sensuality and how we experience the erotic nature of life; within the body, around us, above us, below us. We’ve tragically lost touch with that core of being human through the centuries of patriarchal structures eliminating it through many means; ridicule, punishment and to the extreme, genocide. That has played out as we find ourselves right at the turning point in species and planetary transformation that can no longer support the dominance trajectory. Lunar Magic: Full Moon September 26. 2026

Full Moon arrives 9:49 am PDT at 4th degree of Aries. With Neptune the Mystic and Saturn the Teacher on either side of Moon the pattern brings explicit reminders of what quantum physics and wisdom traditions have been telling us; that matter is nothing more than space configured into a kaleidoscope of manifestations. Spinning molecules coming together, changing “form” and coming apart in a continuous dance of creation. Moon-Neptune at the head of major Kite aspect the call to surrender our usual consciousness, which has been mostly lost in the illusory realms of over emphasis on density. Saturn’s close proximity assures the kind of grounding necessary and capacity for enough order to function within current paradigm while transitioning to the next.

Been saying for many years we have one foot in one world and the other in a different world that’s been going through death and re-birth pangs. It’s all at an intensified pace right now, a particularly intricate dance with day to day life. Not to mention with our higher purposes. Of course Sun in Libra at World Axis Degree announcing new important beginnings at the tail of the Kite with Pluto and Uranus the arms. That Kite flies high and wild!

From New Moon in Virgo on the 10th the “devil is in the details”. Just how are we going about life while being mindful of the need to make one shift after another adapting to what the present moment brings. We have next few months to work on that. This time is supreme in turning us to our inborn wisdom, truthmeter, compass, inner guide, we all possess as Neptune in Aries has been announcing for many months and is quite adamant about now. Not a call to regret or make ourselves feel small and inadequate, but an opportunity to re-think, re-organize, adjust strategies, make reparations. Also where may we need to assert personal sovereignty, so discouraged, even punished, for women and girls? Not about ego but a clear re-claiming of self in a society so invested in competition and demeaning the female in men and women. Another big theme, how have we managed anger, frustration, aggression up to now? Where have we been made to feel shame or sense of unworthiness, an emotional knot so much a part of patriarchal culture, that could easily still be informing too many life choices? We’re all here for a purpose and allowing ourselves to make ourselves feel smaller, like the world doesn’t want to hear from us is the lie of the (dying) paradigm of male domination. Fall 2026 Alchemy: Sept 17

Fall 2026 comes in September 22 with a storm, whipping up into the already swirling chaos everything pushed aside, ignored, and especially all that’s been intentionally buried up to now. From legacies of those occupying power positions over the years, to the motivations and conspiracies for endless war, to sinister workings of the tech world, including of course the altogether monstrous development of AI and the brain exploding complexities of who owns what and what agenda is being played out that excludes all of us non-psychotic, concerned for the welfare of all life, human beings. (ps: It’s made that way so one cannot have a rational dialogue or answers to questions that even approach a clear picture of what’s before or behind the scenes. That’s exactly why what’s needed is not attempts at that but all out resistance to any furthering AI development until and unless we can see honest and beneficial programs with its use.

Uranus’ retrograde pass in Gemini into early February next year is a period where we’re much more enmeshed in all the questions that must be asked while the billionaires shake in their solid gold shoes. Added exponentially to their distress is the fact that Arab nations which are the heaviest investors in US AI development are right now re-thinking their moves as the US lunatic in charge rolls out “through the roof” crazier and more dangerous actions in the almost certainly futile attempt at taking down Iran. (Not to mention that idiotic assault on a smarter and more startegic nation has left the 2 major cities in Israel in very bad shape, not to mention the desalination plants Iran has destroyed, and Israel’s very own lunatic for death and destruction will use the nukes they illegally possess if pushed much further, which the rest of those countries know very well.)

Stormy winds at work as well for each of us in relationships (personal, professional, commercial, educational) and the ethics, meaning and mutuality or not of each. In the Equinox chart which describes energy patterns of the season both Venus and Juno square Pluto, ruliing underground, under consciousness, hidden or frightening aspects of partnerships and alliances. At same time Venus square Moon, emotional life, and quincunx Uranus creates disruptions, surprises, liberating possibilities in those areas. Added to this challenging environment is Juno, asteroid of relationships, square Chiron-Eris, quite an energized dynamic pushing for action of one kind or another. Makes it important to commit to compassion along with self validation in all encounters, negotiations and/or separations. Keeping in mind these energies are with us most prominently through Winter Solstice. No need to be nice, kindness is what’s required, and that includes our own needs along with full respect for the person or persons we need to navigate this crisis time with or leave behind.

The not to be missed opportunities during the Fall retrogrades is something to take seriously while trusting that better ways are within our reach. Scorpio being so involved can and will bring up fears, but the caution is to not descend into them, demoralized and pessimistic, as the dying power structure is designed for. The fearful scenario of where the push to a digital monetary system is going certainly right in the fore to contemplate and take action on in all the little ways we can. The solutions for most forbidding problems, puzzles, and ways around the increasingly authoritarian actions of gov’ment and tech world are all accessible, but we have to do our part in making it so. Innovation, breakthrough vision are the paths into the future. And though our media doesn’t share the amazing stories from all over the world of people creating more life affirming systems, they’re happening every single day. Venus and Mercury collude on the expansion of the best every day actions we can take, along with improvements in the quality and mutual give and take of all our relations.

The larger world in death and birth pangs as international alliances fall apart with new ones forming, most specifically in the global communities beyond USA-Europe-NATO-Israel control. In the East, Africa, global South entities like BRICS forming to bypass the iron fist of the West, create more resilient economies and even commit national resources to the people of the countries that have been pillaged and left in poverty and ruin by western powers. As global power dynamics radically shift the need for all of us to make whatever changes we can in the direction of collaborative local and regional community projects; planning together for resilience through this time of leaving the old dysfunctional, wasteful, destructive system behind. And continues to in many ways that more and more of us have been resisting. (Turns out the Vogons and the Daleks were incorrect when they repeatedly bellowed “Resistance is useless”.) We’re doing it!

Speaking of resistance right before entering World Axis Degree of Libra on Equinox the Sun forms a very tense quincunx with Chiron, perhaps painful, but disruptive in a good way. It’s reminding us of an immediate need to make whatever simple and accessible, yet bold, shift we can in the area of health. In the bigger picture the huge, ailing elephant in the room which everybody knows intimately by now is the very dysfunctional, unjust, ineffective, inaccessible and even dangerous state of health care in the richest country in the world. Chiron’s Aries last gasp over coming months speaks to taking up arms in that department as well as a few others, like endless war that clearly and indisputably threatens all life on the planet. As Sun enters that potent degree it radiates more brilliant light on the evolutionary/revolutionary path forward.

September 13 2026.

Preparations for the New Moon last week ideally involved serious sorting through what must be unloaded, and continuing this week. What has been jumping up and down, calling our name, waving a red flag as the cycle ended? Especially now shouldering unnecessary, unconscious or excessive burdens into the next phase will lead to exponentially worse problems, including painful shoulders. Virgo Sun insists on simplify as the most important goal, backed up and energized with the marriage of Sun and Moon Thursday, at the same time electrified by Uranus turning retrograde just hours before.

Meanwhile auspicious and elevating Grand Air Trine formed by Pluto, Uranus and Mercury. Traveler Between the Worlds Mercury at a World Axis degree opens new channels of crucial information, liberating minds from old strictures and artificial limits of patriarchal colonized minds. Grand Trine becomes a major Kite aspect with Neptune steering the way at the head, Mercury at the tail fueling further exploration. And the Fall Equinox chart has the same Kite aspect with Sun radiating at the tail as Mercury has moved on.

Chiron, Wounded Healer Shaman in Ta**us, in T-Square Pluto-Juno and Venus, as well as quincunx Mercury in its brilliance, instigates emerging crises in relationships in all areas and on all levels. The shifts that must be made in order to create, maintain, or come to completion with all kinds of alliances are quite immediate as things will only get more complicated if problems remain unresolved. With both Chiron and Juno in earth signs, as well as Sun-Moon marriage, the urgency is largely around the simplest, smallest details we can act on and most importantly dedication to being fully present. When Chiron retrogrades back into fire sign Aries on the 17th it will be of great benefit to have taken care of business now as much as possible. In the more esoteric realm Chiron just dipping into its journey in Ta**us over last 12 weeks calls us to enter, or re-enter, the sacredness of the natural world by honoring that in all ways we can imagine. Learning traditions of Indigenous cultures if we’ve not been raised with them, local or globally, are the most direct ways for most disconnected, western culture survivors. Jupiter’s trine to Saturn at New Moon endorses such explorations and amplifies the benefits of honoring those who came before us, ancestors and ancient wisdom cultures sorely needed as support for the daunting requirements of the times.

Pluto has been in a discordant aspect with USA Venus and Jupiter in Cancer for close to 2 years, and in its backward path really close to exact with Venus now. Also while nebulous and/or mystical Neptune makes tight and tense square. This year’s first time with both the outer planets vibrating the nation’s areas of values, ideals, economic realities and quality of relationships with other nations. Neptune, along with all the other planets and asteroids in fire sign Aries is retrograde as well, making the upcoming cycle one where all matters of aggression, misdirected motives and unethical, ill considered actions are in review. Crisis is a mild discription of what we’re faced with, and of course having major impact on the entire world. Bottom line is US soul is Aquarian to the core, now struggling to find that humanitarian, love of equality and justice for all part of our collective identity. The 2026 patterns have brought us to a place of no return on this path to national transmutation, an especially Aquarian process. It’s make different choices in present time, ones aligned with the true soul of humanity. If not the degradation and mass suffering continue to an infamous end of this experiment in multi-culturalism. And unfortunately founded on theft, genocide and slavery which explains the necessary process of coming apart in order to start anew.

At New Moon transiting Juno, all about partnerships and alliances of all kinds, comes back to almost exact alignment with US Pluto. It was first there at Spring Equinox this year beginning an extraordinary period in the taking apart of international relations, making enemies of allies as Juno in collusion with Lord of the Underworld brings into the light what the core of those alliances were about. Appears not the safety and welfare of citizens. October 11 is last pass, probably with yet another dark turn in the power dynamics of current political entities. On the 29th of that month North Node exact on US Aquarius Moon promises a new direction arising in the public consciousness. The path into the future (Aquarius) is more invested in the needs of the People (Moon).

We have big mountains to climb in next 2 years at least to move out of the deadly fog of endless war. But it’s the Soul of Humanity that’s re-birthing in this time, the true nature of the species that major religions have mostly suppressed or killed altogether. The revelations will keep coming of who we have been in the distant past and who we are becoming now.
