If you haven’t already heard, the American Red Cross declared a national blood supply crisis—its second in history—after donations fell to a four-year summer low. They are in critical need of type O blood.

Matthew, a University of Illinois student, visited us to give a presentation on High Frequency Trading for one of his school projects. We loved hearing about his research and learning something new together.

I couldn’t be more proud of this group! Today, we hit an amazing milestone by writing 30 policies in a single day! 💥

This doesn’t happen by accident—it takes teamwork, determination, a whole lot of hustle, and a genuine passion for taking care of our customers. Every conversation, every quote, and every policy represents someone who trusted us to protect what matters most.

Today our hearts are so heavy to learn that one of our favorite customers passed away.

If you knew Roger, you know he had a personality of his own. He may have been misunderstood by some, but to us, he was a friend. He made us laugh, kept us on our toes, and always gave us something to smile about. We truly loved having him in our office.

He worked at the Lowe’s Paint Department post retirement. I got to see him many places outside of the office through the years. I’m so grateful I got to talk to him last week. This part of our job Is so Incredibly painful.

Our hearts especially go out to his family, as this loss came so unexpectedly. Roger leaves behind people who loved him deeply, and we hope they find comfort in the many lives he touched.

Roger, thank you for your friendship, your stories, your humor, and for letting us be a small part of your life. We will miss you tremendously, and our office won’t be quite the same without you.

Rest easy, friend. ❤️ us
