📚I had the opportunity to stop by Miss Rachel’s classroom at McLean County U5’s Brigham Early Learning today to drop off a mobile whiteboard to help her students learn, create, and explore new ideas! 🧠✨

It’s always a great feeling to see firsthand how a small resource can make a big difference in the classroom — especially for the teachers who give so much to our kids every day.

Thank you Nick, with Hometown Senior Care Advisors, for inviting me to this years Faith in Action Luncheon!

The theme this year celebrates veterans serving veterans. Faith in Action is a volunteer based organization that helps our senior community with transportation to the grocery store, and medical appointments. Volunteers also visit with our senior community to build companionship, make conversation, and provide simple home maintenance.

This was a fun McLean County Chamber of Commerce Business Before Hours at Heartland Community College today!

They highlighted their updated Challenger Learning Center, inside the Astroth Community Education Center.

“Our focus is on providing immersive educational programs for students in grades 5-8 and summer programs for grades K-8. We look forward to inspiring young minds through hands-on STEM experiences at the Challenger Learning Center.”

Earlier this month I had the opportunity to talk insurance on WMBD’s Loving Living Local with Gretchen Wirtz!

🚨 Proud Dad Moment Incoming! 🚨

As parents, one of our biggest goals is to encourage our kids to push themselves—try new things, take chances, and step outside their comfort zones.

This photo doesn’t do this play justice.

I watched a talented Washington player hit a fly ball to center field. Harper tracked it down and made the catch. The catch itself was great, but what happened next made me stand up and smile.

After the catch, Harper made the decision to try the long throw home in an attempt to turn it into a double play. The throw was accurate, and our catcher did everything she could to make the tag.

The Washington player made it home and scored.

Barely.

Harper didn’t get the double play, but that’s not what I’ll remember most.

She learned that she can make that throw. She took a chance, trusted herself, and now she has a little more confidence to build on the next time she’s in that situation.

That’s what sports—and life—are all about.

Keep pushing yourself. Try the things that seem a little out of reach. Get uncomfortable. Take the chance.

You might surprise yourself with what you’re capable of. 💚🥎
