A few weeks ago, we made a post looking for local businesses to sponsor nursing units at BroMenn Hospital for Nurses Week… and today I’m so excited (and honestly emotional 🥹) to say that we officially received enough sponsorships to sponsor the ENTIRE nursing staff at BroMenn. 🩺🩷

This means Straight Up Sips will be able to show up and serve drinks to nurses across every unit — nurses who spend every day caring for our community, our loved ones, and complete strangers with compassion and strength.

What makes this even more special is the meaning behind so many of these sponsorships. Straight Up Sips personally sponsored 3 units that are very near and dear to our hearts, and so many other sponsors chose specific units because they know somebody special within that department — whether that’s a friend, spouse, parent, sibling, child, or someone who impacted their life in a meaningful way.

That’s what community is all about. 🤍

BroMenn Hospital has supported Straight Up Sips since day one, and being able to give back in this way alongside so many amazing local businesses means more than I can put into words.

This wasn’t just businesses sponsoring drinks. This was our community coming together to celebrate and appreciate the people who work long hours, miss holidays with their families, and continue to show up every single day for others.

Today marks 1 year of The Newby Agency (WOW!)

One full year, MANY Google reviews, and countless families served across the state, especially right here in Central Illinois. We have helped families anywhere from Chicago to the Quad Cities, to St Louis area, to Danville. It is truly a blessing to connect with families across the state.

In just 365 days we placed Top 3 in COUNTRY Club, earned All‑Star status, and we’re pushing hard toward All American next! That is one of the higher honors COUNTRY has to offer.

None of this happens without my district leader, veteran agents, referral partners, my wife and most importantly… my clients. Thank you for letting me live out my dream of serving this community!

We’re just getting started. 2026 has a lot left in the tank including a new office!
