The VA has made some significant changes to appraisal requirements, and these updates could mean fewer repair conditions, fewer delays, and a smoother path to closing for our veterans! ❤️🤍💙

✅ Sheds and outbuildings no longer have separate VA property requirements
✅ No VA radon certification required on new construction
✅ No oxygen sensor certification needed for non-vented heaters and fireplaces
✅ Peeling paint standards are now focused on major concerns rather than minor cosmetic issues (for homes built after 1978)
✅ Pre-1978 homes still require peeling paint review on the main home only

What does all this mean? Fewer appraisal-related repairs, Less back-and-forth before closing, Reduced costs and delays and a more streamlined homebuying experience for our veterans!
