This week brought a modest improvement in mortgage rates, with the average 30-year conventional fixed rate hovering around 7.35%.

More importantly, we want to take a moment to acknowledge the heartbreaking tragedy at Silver Rail Elementary. Boss Mortgage was founded in Bend, and this community is our home.

Our deepest condolences go out to the victims’ loved ones, students, educators, staff, first responders, and everyone affected. The entire Silver Rail community is in our thoughts and prayers. 💙

Reducing debt may improve your debt-to-income ratio - but not every payoff creates the same qualifying benefit. The type of debt, monthly payment, remaining term, available savings, and loan program all matter.
